Petition for Rulemaking: Polyurethane Foam and Finished Products Classification as Hazardous Materials

The National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) petitioned the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) to classify polyurethane foam and certain finished products containing polyurethane foam as hazardous materials for transportation in commerce, following a public notice soliciting comments published in the Federal Register on March 30, 2007.
