U.S. Department of Transportation Releases FONSI for Beaumont Layberth Facility

The U.S. Department of Transportation has released a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Beaumont Layberth Facility, a proposed construction project that aims to accommodate eight large roll-on/roll-off vessels at the Beaumont National Defense Reserve Fleet anchorage. The project is expected to be more cost-effective in the long term compared to using commercial facilities.
