Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A340-541 and -642 Airplanes Due to Unsafe Condition

Airbus has adopted a new airworthiness directive for the A340-541 and -642 models, resulting from mandatory continuing airworthiness information from another country, which identifies and corrects an unsafe condition related to allowable damage limits and repairs published in 2009.
