Texas Onion Committee to Increase Assessment Rate for South Texas Onion Growers

The South Texas Onion Committee plans to raise its assessment rate for onion growers in the region from $0.025 to $0.03 per 50-pound equivalent of onions, effective for the 2012-13 fiscal period and beyond, to fund program expenses.
