Revised Almond Standards to Align with Marketing Practices

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is revising the United States Standards for Grades of Almonds in the Shell, aligning inspection procedures with current marketing practices and promoting uniformity. The revisions, effective as of January 1, 2024, will change the determination of internal defects from count to weight.
