US Department of Agriculture Adopts New Assessment Rate for Washington Cherry Marketing Committee

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for sweet cherries grown in designated counties in Washington from $0.40 to $0.18 per ton, effective for the 2012-2013 fiscal period and onwards.
