J.R. Simplot Co. Petition for Nonregulated Status of Genetically Engineered Potatoes

The US Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has received a petition from J.R. Simplot Company seeking nonregulated status for genetically engineered Innate potatoes with low acrylamide potential and reduced black spot bruise, allowing them to be grown commercially without additional regulations.
