USDA Amends Lamb Promotion Order to Increase Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule to increase the assessment rate on lamb sales from $0.005 to $0.007 per pound for producers and from $0.30 to $0.42 per head for slaughter, in order to support the American Lamb Board's promotional and research programs.
