Relaxation of Minimum Grade Requirement for California-Grown and Imported Kiwifruit

The Kiwifruit Administrative Committee has relaxed the minimum grade requirement for kiwifruit grown in California and imported into the US, increasing the tolerance for 'badly misshapen' fruit from 7% to 16%. This change aims to reduce costs associated with re-sorting and repacking fruit to meet the 'KAC No. 1' grade.
