USDA Adopts New Assessment Rate for California Olive Committee

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a decrease in the assessment rate for the California Olive Committee, from $31.32 to $21.16 per ton of olives, effective for the 2013 fiscal year and onwards, due to a larger-than-expected crop in the 2012-13 season.
