FCIC Proposes Changes to ELS Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) is proposing amendments to the Common Crop Insurance Regulations, Extra Long Staple (ELS) Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions, aiming to align the ELS provisions with the Upland Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions and introduce a late planting period, effective for the 2014 and subsequent crop years, to better serve cotton producers.
