Florida Citrus Growers to Face Increased Assessment Rate for Oranges, Grapefruit, Tangerines, and Tangelos

The US Department of Agriculture has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for Florida citrus growers from $0.008 to $0.009 per 4/5 bushel carton, effective for the 2013-14 fiscal period and beyond, to fund the Citrus Administrative Committee's expenses.
