US Amends Regulations to Allow Import of Uruguayan Ovine Meat

The US is relaxing its rules to permit the importation of chilled or frozen ovine meat from Uruguay, provided certain conditions are met, in order to safeguard the country against the introduction of foot-and-mouth disease while allowing the importation of Uruguayan ovine meat.
