Chevron U.S.A. Inc. Seeks Blanket Authorization to Export Liquefied Natural Gas on a Short-Term Basis

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has submitted an application to the Department of Energy for permission to export up to 72 billion cubic feet of liquefied natural gas on a short-term basis for two years, starting from December 8, 2012, from its Sabine Pass LNG Terminal in Louisiana to countries that can import LNG via ocean-going carrier.
