DOE Grants Waiver to Samsung Electronics America for Commercial Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Test Procedures

The US Department of Energy has granted Samsung Electronics America a waiver from its commercial package air conditioner and heat pump test procedures, allowing the company to test its variable capacity Digital Variable Multi (DVM) heat pumps with cooling capacities between 72,000 and 120,000 Btu/h using the ANSI/AHRI Standard 1230.
