DOE Amends Regulations for Classified Matter Access Authorization

The US Department of Energy (DOE) is updating its policies and procedures for resolving questions about access authorization to classified matter or special nuclear material, specifically allowing a designated acting official to exercise duties previously reserved for the Principal Deputy for Mission Support Operations.
