Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

Pursuant to the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) gives notice of the establishment of a new system of records titled "FDIC-039, E- Rulemaking System of Records." FDIC's E-Rulemaking system allows the public to search, review, download and comment on FDIC rulemaking and notice documents via FDIC's website (https://www.fdic.gov/resources/ regulations/federal-register-publications/). This system of records notice covers the records maintained by the FDIC relating to comments and other written input submitted to the Corporation in response to proposed FDIC rulemakings, notices, or other requests for comments.

Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection Renewal; Comment Request

The FDIC, as part of its obligations under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the request to renew the existing information collections described below (OMB Control No. 3064-0140; -0176). The notices of proposed renewal for these information collections were previously published in the Federal Register on July 2, 2026, allowing for a 60-day comment period. No comments were received.

Reciprocal Deposits: Implementing the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is amending its brokered deposit regulations to conform with recent changes to section 29 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act made by section 902 of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act related to reciprocal deposits, which took effect on July 11, 2026.
