Federal Reserve Establishes Liquidity Facility for Money Market Mutual Funds

The Federal Reserve has authorized the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston to establish the Money Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility, which will provide liquidity to the money market sector and help stabilize the financial system by allowing eligible financial institutions to purchase assets from money market mutual funds.
