US Navy Issues Letters of Authorization for Marine Mammal Surveys
The US Navy has issued four 1-year Letters of Authorization to take marine mammals by harassment while operating its SURTASS LFA sonar system, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act and regulations.
