NMFS Prohibits Pacific Cod Fishing by Catcher/Processors in Western Gulf of Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher/processors using trawl gear in the Western Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska due to concerns about exceeding the 2012 total allowable catch limit for this fishery.
