Port Dolphin Energy LLC Seeks Authorization to Take Marine Mammals for Gulf of Mexico Liquefied Natural Gas Port Construction

Port Dolphin Energy LLC has requested authorization from the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to take marine mammals incidental to the construction and operation of its Port Dolphin Deepwater Port in the Gulf of Mexico from June 2013 through May 2018, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). NMFS is proposing regulations to govern this take and invites public input on the proposed rules.
