USPTO Revises Patent Rules to Implement Leahy-Smith America Invents Act

The USPTO is updating its rules to implement the new derivation proceeding under the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act, which will take effect on March 16, 2013, and apply to patent applications subject to first-inventor-to-file provisions.
