NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Nature Conservancy's Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Atlantic Halibut

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has given preliminary approval for the Nature Conservancy's Exempted Fishing Permit application, which would exempt participating vessels from minimum fish size and possession limits for Atlantic halibut, pending further review and public comment.
