Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Electronic Dealer Reporting System Workshop

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will host training workshops starting January 1, 2013, to introduce the Electronic Dealer Reporting System for Federal Highly Migratory Species (HMS) dealers in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic regions. The system, which went into effect on January 1, 2013, requires dealers to report receipt of HMS species, including sharks, swordfish, and tunas, through a centralized electronic reporting system.
