U.S. Navy Granted 3-Year Permit to Take Marine Mammals for Training

The U.S. Navy has been granted a 3-year permit by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to take marine mammals during training activities at the Northwest Training Range Complex, off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2004 (NDAA).
