Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act Provisions; General Provisions for Domestic Fisheries; Exempted Fishing Permit Application Approved for 11 Vessels

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, NMFS, has given preliminary approval to an Exempted Fishing Permit application for 11 commercial fishing vessels, which would exempt them from certain Federal American lobster regulations, including gear specifications, trap limits, and trap tag requirements, to study juvenile American lobster dispersal patterns.
