U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Regulatory Guides for Nuclear Power Plants and Flooding Hazards

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is releasing two new guides, RG 1.59 Revision 3 and RG 1.256 Revision 0, to help nuclear power plants prepare for and respond to flooding hazards and design-basis floods.
