Coast Guard Proposes 500-Meter Safety Zone for NOBLE DISCOVERER Drillship in Chukchi and Beaufort Seas

The US Coast Guard has proposed a 500-meter safety zone around the NOBLE DISCOVERER drillship to protect it from vessels operating outside normal shipping channels, reducing the risk of collisions and oil spills in the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas, Alaska, from July 1, 2012 to October 31, 2012.
