Coast Guard Proposes Special Local Regulations for OPSAIL 2012 Connecticut Activities

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing temporary regulations to ensure the safety of life on navigable waters in Niantic Bay, Long Island Sound, and surrounding areas during OPSAIL 2012 Connecticut, a maritime event. The proposed restrictions would limit vessel traffic unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Long Island Sound.
