US Coast Guard Temporarily Waives Drawbridge Regulation in New Orleans

The US Coast Guard has issued a temporary waiver to allow the closure of the Lapalco Boulevard bascule span drawbridge across the Harvey Canal Route in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway for sixty consecutive hours during two consecutive weekends, necessary for the removal and replacement of the span locks.
