U.S. Government Seeks Final Approval for Antitrust Settlement of Paper Industry Mergers

The U.S. Department of Justice has proposed a final judgment and competitive impact statement for the proposed merger between Verso Paper Corp. and NewPage Holdings Inc., two major paper companies, to address antitrust concerns in the industry.
