Bureau of Prisons Clarifies Use of X-Ray Devices in Inmate Searches

The Bureau of Prisons has clarified the terminology used for body imaging search devices, distinguishing them from medical x-ray devices that require consent or approval, in routine searches of inmates and their work areas.
